Extinction Series
Extinction Series is a group of sculptures begun in 2008. The series was originally inspired by 18th century Staffordshire ceramic pairs of animals.
Staffordshire animal sculptures are sometimes refered to by collectors as a "Noah’s Ark of the time".
Extinction Series is a posthumous Noah’s Ark for our current time. Here, images of North America animals that have gone extinct since 1900 are sculpted.
